Bob Bellamy

Bob Bellamy

Bob Bellamy is a refreshingly different kind of hammered dulcimer player. Accomplished on the mandolin and guitar in the old time and bluegrass world, he was smitten by the hammered dulcimer back when they were hard to find. From his farm in rural Ohio he became a builder by necesity and took to the instrument naturally, developing a fluid style uniquely his own.

Highlights of Bob’s career include annual Christmas performances at the Biltmore Estate and the Greenbrier Resort. As well as high profile events held at George Washington’s Mount Vernon Estate and Gardens including: General Washington’s 275th Birthday for the Founders, Pulitzer Prize author David McCullough, members of the European Union sponsored by Coca Cola, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
